I have a White Serger--never used, still in the box. It comes with an instructional video. I'm asking $200 which is half of what I paid. I've attached a picture. It's never been used. (I wanted to learn, but have never found the time). Interested people can e-mail me at carole_gentry@hotmail.com.

Dear sisters, on behalf of the YW, we would like to inform you and ask for your help and encouragement on a service project our young people have embarked on. The YW have challenged the YM to a food drive for the ECHO organization which provides emergency services to families in the local area. The Mia Maids recently had an opportunity to serve in the ECHO warehouse organizing food and 3 day emergency food boxes. We hope to have a joint service project for all the youth in Nov. there. There will be a friendly competition among each of the YW classes and YM quorums. The class or quorum that has the most donated items will win a pizza party. So, if you have a youth in your home, please allow them to take credit for any donations coming from you. If you have no youth at home, please pick out a class you would like to donate food to!The following items are included in a 3 day food box: Ramen noodles, soup, peanut butter, canned tuna, canned meat, boxed cereal, canned vegetables or fruits, bags of rice, or misc. items...they will usually combine 10 miscellaneous items in a bag and pass on. Any assistance or encouragement you can give to our young people would be greatly appreciated. We will collect the food after church every Sunday in the foyer and take it to ECHO on a weekly basis. The food drive will end after the first Sunday in Nov. Thank you in advance for any support or encouragement you can render to our young people and their service opportunity!... YW presidency

My oldest daughter is going to Haiti on Nov. 13, and to Uganda in January. I have a list of supplies that are needed and checks for supplies are always welcome. Have folks call me and I can give them details. I am sending 24 dollars for 4 chickens which will be given to a Haitian family to raise, and eat.
